• Time Available. Salary based upon experience and tenure at our office. We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dental team in providing high-quality oral healthcare to patients. ## Responsibilities
• Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
• Prepare patients for dental work by welcoming, comforting, seating, and draping them
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment, prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
• Take and develop dental x-rays
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with medical documentation
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies ## Qualifications
• Certification or diploma from an accredited dental assistant program
• Proficiency in dental coding and terminology
• Knowledge of general dentistry procedures including pediatrics, prosthodontics, endodontics
• Experience working in a dental office setting is preferred
• Strong assisting skills with the ability to anticipate the needs of the dentist
