Dental Support Staff (Hybrid Role - Dental Assistant and Reception) - Entry Level

We want you to be our Team Member!!! Dental Implants and Periodontics of Connecticut, LLC is seeking to hire a full-time team member in a busy periodontal practice. The candidate would work in our Meriden office at 546 South Broad St and our Waterbury location at 1064 Chase Parkway. The candidate would likely work 50% in each location. This position would begin as a Dental Assistant and and eventually be cross-trained in administrative/reception work. However, over time depending on the candidate's skills and abilities, transfer to a position solely as a Dental Assistant or receptionist is possible. The ideal candidate can multitask well, learn quickly, and work at a fast pace. The ideal candidate also has a friendly disposition and enjoys working with patients; is eager to work as part of a team; and is very organized. The ideal candidate would consider this position as a potential for a long career - not just a temporary job. We would also consider hiring recent college graduates looking to obtain experience in the dental field for a minimum of 2-3 years before moving on. We are willing to train the right candidate and no prior certifications are necessary. Any person with a background in customer service (such as in food service; retail; or any other fields) or in a medical field (such as medical assisting or EMT) can be a great foundation. We strive to create a calming environment that caters to our patients. The position is between 32 and 40 hours per week with possible overtime, Monday through Friday. The team member would work four to five days per week and the schedule may vary from week to week. The team member will occasionally be on-call for emergencies. We would help you get all the certifications you need (Infection control and radiation).
