  • Full-time Job description: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team!
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. This position requires a strong understanding of general dentistry practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during various procedures, including examinations, general dentistry, implants and full mouth restorative cases. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques. Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Utilize 3D scanners for imaging when required. Knowledge is a plus but not required. Provide support in pediatric and general dentistry, patient education and treatment planning. Perform four-handed dentistry to enhance the efficiency of procedures. Assist with implant and extraction procedures by preparing materials and instruments. Manage patient flow and ensure that patients are informed about their treatment plans. Equipment maintenances. Keep clean and stocked ops. Qualifications Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred, with knowledge of general dentistry practices. Familiarity with medical coding and documentation is advantageous. Proficiency in using 3D scanning technology is a plus. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of aseptic techniques to ensure a safe working environment. Infection and Radiology Certificates are required. CPR certificate is a preferred but not required.
