New graduates of dental assisting programs welcome to apply! Our general dentistry practice in West Hartford is seeking a reliable, personable dental assistant to join our team. We are hiring a full-time dental assistant and are looking for someone who takes pride in patient care and enjoys working in a calm, well-organized clinical environment. Schedule Options:
Full-time:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 6:30 am
  • 5 pm, Wednesday 8:30 am
  • 6 pm. As of August 2026 hours will be Monday
  • Thursday 7:30 am-5 pm.
No weekends
Responsibilities:
Welcome patients and help create a comfortable, professional experience Set up and break down operatories, including instrument sterilization and infection control Assist the dentist chairside during a range of general dentistry procedures, including: Composite restorations, Crown and bridge, Implant restorations, Dentures, Invisalign, Pediatric dentistry. Take digital dental radiographs and impressions or utilize an intraoral scanner Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment and support efficient patient flow
Requirements:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!
New graduates of dental assisting programs welcome to apply! High school diploma or equivalent DANB certification in radiation and infection control Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a clinical setting Dependable, self-motivated, and patient-focused Positive attitude and collaborative approach to teamwork About the
