Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team! In this vital role, you will support dentists in delivering exceptional patient care while ensuring the smooth operation of the dental practice. Your expertise in chairside assisting, infection control, and dental procedures will help create a welcoming environment for patients of all ages. Please be x -ray and ice certified. Duties Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are ready for patient appointments Take dental X-rays and medical imaging using digital radiography equipment such as 3D scanners and traditional X-ray machines Manage patient records by updating medical documentation, medical records, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions to promote overall dental health Maintain infection control standards through proper aseptic techniques and adherence to OSHA guidelines Experience Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with familiarity in general dentistry procedures Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to dental care Hands-on experience with dental assisting techniques including chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry practices Proficiency in using Dentrix for managing patient data and medical records Experience with X-ray procedures, including taking intraoral and extraoral images for diagnostic purposes Understanding of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety Ability to operate dental equipment like 3D scanners and other medical imaging tools effectively Join our team where your skills will be valued and your passion for helping others celebrated!
