Must be flexible and able to multitask. At least one year of Dental experience required. Must be x-ray certified and licensed dental assistant in DC. This is a full time position, M-F, and one Saturday a month. Responsibilities and Duties Friendly and excels with patients Builds relationships with patients and family members through trust and interpersonal skills Ability to work with all ages Thorough with Infection control Prepare, sterilize, organize and set up dental instruments Clean rooms and prepare operatory for treatment Stock and organize the office Communicate with parents and patients, team and doctor Works on preventative maintenance and monitoring of equipment Assist the doctor and other team members as needed Chair-side charting and note taking Qualifications and Skills Must be high school graduate, CPR Certified, Xray certified for the District of Columbia Local DC resident a plus+
