- Full-time Elite Prosthetic Dentistry is seeking an exceptional Dental Assistant to join our specialty prosthodontic practice in Washington, DC.
Whether you are an experienced assistant with advanced implant and restorative skills or a motivated assistant looking to grow into a higher-level clinical role, we would like to hear from you. Our practice focuses on dental implants, full-mouth reconstruction, cosmetic rehabilitation, advanced restorative dentistry, and long-term treatment outcomes. Responsibilities Assist with prosthodontic, implant, restorative, cosmetic, and surgical procedures Support comprehensive treatment appointments and new patient evaluations Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, materials, and clinical workflows Help patients feel comfortable, informed, and well cared for Assist with photography, digital records, scanning, and treatment planning Support provisional restorations and laboratory-related procedures Learn additional advanced clinical responsibilities based on experience and aptitude Who We Are Looking For The ideal candidate is: Professional, mature, and reliable Excellent with patients Detail-oriented and organized Skilled in four-handed dentistry Surgical and prosthodontic experience are both preferred. Calm under pressure Committed to doing excellent work Interested in learning and developing advanced clinical skills Looking for a long-term career opportunity Experience with implants, surgery, prosthodontics, digital dentistry, or complex restorative treatment is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates strong fundamentals, excellent judgment, and a positive attitude. Requirements Dental assisting experience required Strong chairside skills Professional communication skills Excellent attendance and reliability Strong references DC dental assistant registration or willingness to obtain required credentials Radiology certification preferred Compensation & Benefits Compensation is based on experience, skill level, credentials, and growth potential.
