Responsibilities Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry with efficiency and professionalism. Prepare treatment areas by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly following aseptic techniques. Take and develop dental X-rays using advanced medical imaging technology such as 3D scanners while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Support patient care by taking vital signs, explaining procedures clearly using dental terminology, and assisting with chairside assisting. Ensure infection control protocols are followed meticulously to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff. Collaborate with the dental team including receptionists and hygienists to streamline scheduling, manage Dental records efficiently, and enhance overall clinic operations. Qualifications Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar dental clinic setting with knowledge of general dentistry procedures. Familiarity with Dentrix. Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques. Ability to perform X-ray procedures accurately while adhering to safety standards; certification in X-ray technology preferred. Ability to fabricate temporary crowns/bridges. Excellent communication skills to effectively explain procedures using medical terminology and provide compassionate patient support.

Pay:

$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
