Dental Assistant

Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments using aseptic techniques to uphold infection control standards. Preferred having at least one year of experience. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 7:45 am - 4:30 to 5 pm Assist dentists chairside during procedures such as restorations, extractions, and prosthodontics dentistry. Trios digital scanning Take and develop dental X-rays and 3D scans, ensuring proper technique and patient comfort. Manage patient records accurately including updating medical histories and documenting treatment details. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions clearly and compassionately. Maintain a clean, organized clinic environment adhering to infection control protocols and OSHA guidelines. Proficiency in dental assisting techniques with experience in chairside assisting especially in making temporary crowns and digital scanning . Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques. Skilled in operating EMR systems. Fuse is what we currently used in office. Experience with taking X-ray and preferably experience with 3D scanners (Trios) . Familiarity with common dental coding and documentation standards relevant to dental care. Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages while demonstrating empathy and professionalism. Capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment while supporting the whole team. Willing to be cross trained to assist with insurance verification and treatment plan estimates
