Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant and become a vital part of delivering exceptional oral healthcare! In this energetic role, you will support dentists by preparing treatment areas, assisting during procedures, and ensuring patients feel comfortable and cared for. Your expertise in dental procedures, infection control, and patient communication will help create a positive experience for every patient. Duties Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments, materials, and supplies for various dental procedures Assist dentists chairside during examinations, restorations, endodontics, prosthodontics, and other treatments Take and develop dental X-rays using advanced equipment such as 3D scanners and medical imaging tools Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment Manage patient records accurately using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Dentrix or Eaglesoft while maintaining HIPAA compliance Educate patients on dental procedures, post-treatment care, and oral health practices in a friendly manner Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and coordinating with the dental receptionist to optimize clinic flow Requirements Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy Proficiency in dental assisting techniques including chairside assisting, taking vital signs, and medical documentation Familiarity with EMR systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic for managing medical records and coding procedures Knowledge of infection control standards, aseptic technique, and sterilization procedures Ability to operate dental imaging equipment including X-ray machines and 3D scanners confidently Strong understanding of pediatric dentistry principles and experience working with children is a plus Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and collaborate with the dental team Join us to make a difference in patients' lives through compassionate care and technical excellence!
