We have two assistants that have been there for many years. We prioritize patient education and strive for a stress-free environment by working exclusively with PPO insurance plans. Our practice takes pride in providing excellent dental work and outstanding customer service, focusing on patients true needs and delivering an exceptional patient experience.

Our office hours are 7:30am/8am-3:30pm, Monday through Thursday. If you are dedicated, self-motivated, and responsible, we invite you to apply. We are open 1 Friday a month for surgeries only, pts. are scheduled by apt. only on those days.

Job Type:

PART TIME.

Salary:

$18.00

• $22.

00 per hour depending on experience.

Schedule:

3-4 hour shift from Monday

• Thursday, or two 7 hour days per week.

License/Certification:

EFDA Duties:

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
• Take dental x-rays
• Prepare and maintain dental equipment and supplies
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
• Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records
• Perform basic laboratory tasks such as pouring models and fabricating temporary crowns
• Adjust partials, dentures, night guards, make temp crowns, packing gingival retraction cord.

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Dental Assistant preferred
• Familiarity with

OPEN DENTAL

electronic health record system, and DEXIS

• Ability to take accurate vital signs and perform patient assessments
• Knowledge of medical records management and HIPAA regulations
• Experience assisting with various dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, cleanings, crown & bridge, impressions. Implant experience is not required, but strongly recommended.
• Basic understanding of medical imaging techniques As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients.

You will work closely with the dentist to ensure efficient and effective treatment procedures. Your attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to work well in a team environment will contribute to the success of our practice.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program or equivalent experience (EFDA required)
• Current CPR certification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
