The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent patient care and a strong understanding of dental procedures and terminology. This role involves assisting dentists during various treatments, ensuring a smooth workflow in the clinic, and maintaining a safe and hygienic environment. Duties Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, including chairside assisting in various specialties such as general dentistry, Being able to do temporary crowns, pack cords, take digital impressions and CT scans. Paperless office with digital X-rays. Open dental software. Applicant should be friendly, willing to present treatment plans, educate patients about their dental treatments and a team player. Willing to learn and expand based on the office needs. Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques. Take and develop dental X-rays, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Manage patient records, including medical documentation and medical records, while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Conduct preliminary assessments by taking vital signs and gathering medical history. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Maintain infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff. Collaborate with the dental receptionist to schedule appointments and manage patient flow. Utilize advanced technology such as 3D scanners for imaging when necessary. Requirements Experience dental assistant with at least 4 years experience. Two locations in Fort Lauderdale and Pembroke Pines. Spanish is a plus. Serious applicants with above requirements only.
