Role:

We're hiring an experienced Orthodontic Assistant who has worked directly inside an orthodontic practice. This is not a general dental assisting role. We need someone who already knows orthodontics: the workflows, the appliances, the chairside pace, and the clinical precision that ortho demands. If your ortho experience was a small slice of a general dentistry job, this likely isn't the right fit. If orthodontics is your specialty, we'd love to meet you. Our Schedule (Yes, This Is a true 4-day work week: every Wednesday off, plus every Saturday and Sunday)

Monday, Tuesday, Friday:

8:00 AM to 6:00 PM (clinic open 8:30 to 5:30, with 30 minutes before for setup and 30 minutes after for cleanup and organization)

Wednesday:

Closed. Use it however you want.

Thursday:

9:30 AM to 7:30 PM (clinic open 10:00 to 7:00, same 30-minute setup and wrap) That's a real 4-day work week, every single week. Doctor's appointments, kid stuff, errands, a quiet day to yourself: Wednesday is yours.

What You'll Do:

Help create a calm, confident experience for every family who walks through our door, especially the younger ones Place and remove wires, separators, and orthodontic appliances Assist chairside in a high-efficiency, fast-paced clinical environment Take digital scans (Medit experience is a plus), clinical photos, and X-rays Maintain sterilization protocols and instrument organization with consistency Prepare and break down treatment rooms efficiently Support front desk operations as needed: phones, patient flow, light admin Pitch in on light office cleanup and organization at the start and end of each clinical day

What We Require:

2+ years of assisting experience inside an orthodontic practice. This is a firm requirement. General dental experience with some ortho exposure does not qualify. Confident, hands-on knowledge of orthodontic procedures and common appliances Efficient, detail-oriented, and able to stay composed in a fast-moving environment Positive attitude with a genuine team-first mindset Comfortable with digital tools and technology (Apple devices a plus) Bilingual in Spanish and English strongly preferred.
