Dental Assistant

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting the dental team in delivering effective treatments. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow and patient comfort. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques. Take and develop X-rays as needed, adhering to safety protocols. Utilize 3D scanners for imaging and assist with digital impressions. Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or Epic software. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Support pediatric dentistry by providing compassionate care to young patients. Perform four-handed dentistry to enhance efficiency during procedures. Assist in endodontics procedures as required. Ensure the dental office is clean, organized, and compliant with health regulations. Experience Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not mandatory; we welcome enthusiastic candidates eager to learn. Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices is a plus. Proficiency in using dental software such as Dentrix or Epic is advantageous. Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is essential. Experience with 3D scanning technology is beneficial. Understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols is required.
