Responsibilities Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. Take and develop X-rays as needed, adhering to safety protocols. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Maintain accurate patient records using dental software systems. Manage appointment/patient flow and patient follow-ups efficiently. Handle administrative tasks such as presentation of simple treatment plans. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the dental clinic. Requirements Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred, with a strong understanding of general dentistry practices. Knowledge of dental terminology and dental imaging techniques is an asset. Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Dentrix and Sidexis is highly desirable. Experience working in surgical/implant/sedation dentistry is a plus but not mandatory. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members. Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Certification in dental assisting or relevant training is preferred.
