Duties Assist dentist chairside during a variety of procedures including restorative, endodontic, prosthodontic, and other treatments. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly using infection control protocols. Take and develop dental X-rays and 3D scans while maintaining accuracy with medical imaging standards. Manage patient records using OpenDental. Monitor vital signs and assist in maintaining aseptic techniques to uphold the highest standards of infection control. Requirements Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar dental clinic setting with knowledge of general dentistry practices. Familiarity with Opendental. Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and infection control protocols including aseptic techniques. Ability to perform X-ray procedures safely and accurately; certification in dental radiography preferred. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff.
Pay:
$18.00 - $21.00 per hour
