Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant , where your enthusiasm and expertise will help create a welcoming environment for patients seeking exceptional oral healthcare. In this vital role, you will support dentists during procedures, ensure patient comfort, and maintain the highest standards of infection control and medical documentation. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute to the smooth operation of our busy dental clinic, providing top-tier care in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, and endodontics. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, patient-centered setting.
Duties :
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and ensuring all equipment such as X-ray machines and 3D scanners are functioning properly. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols. Manage patient flow by greeting patients as a dental receptionist, scheduling appointments on Eaglesoft and Dolphin. Educate patients on oral health practices, post-treatment care instructions, and answer questions related to dental terminology or procedures. Requirements Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with knowledge of general dentistry procedures. Proficiency in dental assisting tasks including chairside assisting, taking X-rays, and managing medical imaging equipment such as 3D scanners. Familiarity with EMR systems like Eaglesoft and Dolphin Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality at all times. Knowledge of infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, anatomy, dental terminology, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry. Ability to work effectively in pediatric dentistry settings; experience with pediatrics is a plus. Excellent communication skills as a dental receptionist; capable of managing patient interactions professionally and empathetically.
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
