Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care by assisting the dentist during procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a sterile environment. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during various procedures, including general dentistry and pediatrics. Prepare and maintain instruments and equipment for dental procedures. Take and develop X-rays while adhering to infection control protocols. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality. Implement aseptic techniques to prevent infection and ensure patient safety. Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during treatments. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling appointments. Requirements Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred, with knowledge in general dentistry. Proficiency in taking X-rays and understanding infection control measures. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality. Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus. Knowledge of aseptic techniques and the ability to maintain a sterile environment. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
