Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing dental practice. This position is ideal for a professional who is passionate about patient care, works efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment, and has a strong understanding of modern dental procedures and office workflow. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on dental assisting experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with doctors, hygienists, and administrative staff to provide exceptional patient experiences.

Competitive pay based on experience Responsibilities Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, including restorative, cosmetic, crown and bridges including fabrication and adjustments of temporaries, endodontic, oral surgery, Implants and Ortho-related procedures Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials before patient appointments Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment in accordance with OSHA and CDC standards Take digital X-rays, take intraoral pictures, perform digital scanning and ensure proper documentation in patient charts Accurately update and maintain electronic patient records and treatment notes Provide patients with pre-operative and post-operative instructions Maintain efficient patient flow and assist in managing the daily clinical schedule Ensure patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit Monitor inventory and assist with ordering clinical supplies when necessary Support front office duties as needed, including scheduling and patient communication Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of dental assisting experience required Bilingual candidates, Spanish and English speakers preferred Dental Assistant certification preferred Proficiency with digital charting and Dentrix dental software system Strong knowledge of infection control and sterilization procedures Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and remain organized in a busy office environment Professional appearance and positive attitude Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Experience assisting in multiple specialties Strong patient relationship and customer service skills Ability to anticipate doctor needs during procedures Comfortable educating patients regarding treatment and oral hygiene Benefits Competitive compensation Supportive and collaborative team environment Opportunity for long-term growth within the practice Performance based Bonuses We are looking for a dedicated Dental Assistant who takes pride in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive office culture.
