Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Dental Assistant/Receptionist, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring smooth clinic operations. This energetic position combines clinical support with front desk responsibilities, providing an engaging environment for those passionate about healthcare and customer service. You will be the first point of contact for patients, assisting with scheduling and medical records management, while also supporting dental procedures with professionalism and efficiency. Your proactive approach will help create a welcoming atmosphere that promotes patient satisfaction and clinic success. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and manage appointment scheduling using dental practice management software such as Dentrix. Handle multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, addressing patient inquiries and coordinating appointment logistics. Prepare and review patient documentation, including medical histories, care plans, and treatment notes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HIPAA regulations. Assist dental providers during procedures by preparing instruments, taking X-rays, and maintaining sterilization protocols. Itero scanning experience. Temporary crowns fabrication. Maintain organized medical records and ensure all documentation review is thorough for compliance purposes. Skills Strong knowledge of dental terminology to accurately document procedures and diagnoses. Exceptional patient service skills paired with professional phone etiquette. Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse patient populations effectively. Prior dental office experience is preferred to ensure seamless integration into our team's workflow.
