Job Description

Job Summary Private practice dental office in Navarre, FL seeking certified dental assistant with a minimum of 2 years experience. Looking for a candidate proficient in taking impressions, digital x-rays, digital scans, fabrication of temp crowns and bridges, 4- handed dentistry, and presenting treatment plans. Hours would be Mon, Tues, Thurs 7:30 am -4 pm and Friday 7:30 am - 12 pm. Must have great work ethic and communication skills. Pay will be based on skill level and discussed after working interview completed. Duties Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, extractions and occasional root canals. Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring aseptic technique and infection control standards are maintained. Manage electronic medical records in Dentrix efficiently. Perform vital signs measurement and dental imaging to support comprehensive patient assessments. Demonstrate proficiency in dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and presentation of treatment plans. Requirements Valid certification as a Dental Assistant with current licensure or registration as required by state law. Proven experience in dental assisting within a clinical setting, preferably general dentistry. Dentrix experience preferred . Knowledge of infection control procedures, aseptic technique, and OSHA standards for dental clinics. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients.
Pay:
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
