Job Description

Overview Navarre Family Dentistry is a well established general practice dental office, We are seeking a Part-Time Certified Dental Assistant to join our professional dental team. We are looking for someone to support clinical operations, ensure patient comfort, and maintain the highest standards of infection control and patient care. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing advanced dental technology, from routine check-ups to advanced restorative and cosmetic procedures, focusing on delivering high quality care. We are looking for someone who is patient oriented, has good organizational skills, is reliable, and is a good team member. Knowledge of Dentrix dental software is a plus, but not a requirement. Our team works together with the shared goal that our patients have a fantastic experience when they visit. Responsibilities Caring for patients who want quality compassionate dental care. Assisting through all areas of clinical dentistry: chairside assisting with proficiency in dental terminology and medical documentation, room set up/ breakdown, four handed dentistry, sterilization, ect. Take and develop X-rays while ensuring patient safety and comfort Manage patient records accurately. Contributing to supply and inventory management. Assist with presenting and discussing treatment plans. Maintain infection control standards in accordance with HIPAA regulations and OSHA guidelines Operate advanced dental technology including 3D scanners and medical imaging equipment Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing medical records as needed Jump in where needed - Lab work, charts, even a little front desk back up when needed. Experience Dental assisting 1 year preferred Meet all state requirements for dental assisting certification (Preferred) and x-ray certification (Preferred) Compassion towards patients Positive attitude and team player. Motivated and Reliable. This position provides an engaging environment for those passionate about delivering exceptional patient care while advancing their skills in modern dental practices.
Pay:
$21.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 - 28.0 per week
