Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of general dentistry and be proficient in assisting with various dental procedures. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional patient care while adhering to the highest standards of infection control and safety protocols. Duties Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Maintain patient records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Utilize 3D scanning technology for dental impressions when required. Implement aseptic techniques to maintain a safe and clean environment. Support the front office staff with scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries as needed. Experience Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred, with a focus on general dentistry practices. Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and endodontics is essential. Familiarity with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques is required. Proficiency in using dental equipment, including 3D scanners, is advantageous. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are crucial for success in this role.
