Orthodontic Assistant

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced orthodontic assistant to come work with us three days a week (Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays). Skills Needed Bracket placement, wire placement, stainless steel ligatures Appliance deliveries (Herbst, RPE) Communication with patients and parents (rubber bands, oral hygiene) Preparing treatment chairs including sterilizing instruments, setting up tools, and following infection control protocols Taking panoramic X-rays, intraoral photos, alginate impressions, and dental scans Recording treatment notes Supporting patients by explaining procedures, answering questions about orthodontic care, and providing post-treatment instructions Requirements Must have a work history of at least 5 years at the same orthodontic office Must be a team player, willing help however needed Must have excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly and provide compassionate patient care Must be good with kids as we see young patients only

Pay:

$25.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 per week

Experience:

orthodontic assisting: 5 years (Required)
