The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients while ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow within the clinic. This position requires proficiency in various dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and various dental procedures, utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in compliance with health and safety regulations. Maintain accurate medical records using electronic system- Open Dental. Take and record vital signs as necessary, ensuring patient comfort throughout their visit. Operate 3D scanners for imaging purposes and assist with the creation of dental models. Manage patient scheduling, including follow-up appointments, while providing exceptional customer service as a dental receptionist when needed. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote overall dental health. Ensure the dental clinic is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies. Requirements Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is mandatory. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality is maintained at all times. Ability to perform basic clinical tasks, including taking vital signs and assisting with general dentistry procedures. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a team environment. Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are essential for maintaining accurate records and managing patient flow.
