Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring all equipment is sterilized and organized according to aseptic techniques. Assist dentists during various procedures, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry, providing chairside support with precision and care. Take dental X-rays using advanced imaging technology such as 3D scanners and medical imaging tools, ensuring accuracy and patient comfort. Manage patient records efficiently within EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Oryx , ensuring HIPAA compliance for confidentiality and security of medical documentation. Experience Prior experience working in a dental clinic setting is a MUST Proficiency in dental assisting techniques including four-handed dentistry, infection control protocols, and aseptic technique is essential. Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology ensures clear communication within the team and with patients. Experience with X-ray procedures, medical imaging equipment like 3D scanners, and dental radiography is required to support accurate diagnostics. Understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical coding practices guarantees compliance with legal standards for patient privacy and billing accuracy.
Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
