Registered Dental Assistant (RDA/CDA Preferred)
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated, professional, and patient-focused Dental Assistant to join our growing team. This position plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional patient experience while supporting the doctor in providing high-quality, efficient dental care. Monday-Thursday, patients scheduled from 7-4 We are looking for someone who is outgoing, detail-oriented, dependable, and thrives in a relationship-based practice environment. Our office is not a corporate dental mill—we value genuine patient relationships, personalized care, and creating a welcoming atmosphere where patients feel comfortable and appreciated. The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working closely with patients, and is eager to continue learning and growing in modern dentistry.
Responsibilities:
Assist the doctor during a variety of dental procedures Prepare and break down operatories efficiently and thoroughly Take digital radiographs and intraoral photos Assist with CEREC/same-day crown workflows Knowledge of assisting implant placement and restoration is preferred Sterilize and maintain instruments according to OSHA and CDC standards Ensure patients are comfortable and informed throughout their visit Review post-operative instructions and answer patient questions Maintain accurate clinical notes and documentation Manage inventory and operatory supplies as needed Coordinate with front office and clinical team to maintain smooth patient flow Provide exceptional customer service and patient care at all times
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience (REQUIRED) Current Florida Dental Radiology certification Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization protocols Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Professional appearance and positive attitude Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Experience with digital dentistry and dental software preferred (Eaglesoft preferred) Expanded Functions certification is a plus, but not required Be on time consistently with a strong work ethic
