Expanded Functions Dental Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures
• fillings, lab or same day crowns, extractions, root canals, implants, exams, etc.
• Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment.
• Take digital X-rays and CT scans.

Skills:

• Proficiency in iTero and/or CAD-CAM scanning.
• Knowledge of medical documentation and record-keeping practices.
• Ability to take accurate vital signs and monitor patient comfort during procedures.
• Familiarity with Dentrix is a plus.
