Dental Assistant

## Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help provide quality patient care. ## Duties

• Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
• Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures
• Take dental x-rays
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow ## Experience
• Proficiency in aseptic technique
• Familiarity with Dentrix software
• Knowledge of dental assisting techniques and terminology
• Understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry
• Experience in endodontics procedures is a plus
• Previous work in a dental clinic setting preferred
• Knowledge of dental receptionist duties is beneficial
