Join Our Pediatric-Ortho Team Kids 1st Pediatric Dentistry, Pllc Pinellas Park, FL Job Details Part-time $25.96 - $31.26 an hour 2 hours ago Qualifications Teamwork Working with children Pediatric dentistry Autoclaving Full Job Description Experienced Orthodontic Assistant - Join Our Growing Pediatric-Ortho Team Build Something Special With Us Kids 1st Pediatric Dentistry is seeking an experienced Orthodontic Assistant who is passionate about working with children and excited about helping grow a thriving orthodontic department from the ground up. We're looking for someone with experience in Phase I orthodontics, expanders, aligners, orthodontic records, bracket placement, starts, debonding, and patient education. The ideal candidate values organization, an intentional scheduling process, exceptional patient care, and being part of a collaborative team. Compensation starts at $27/hour and is based on experience, skills, and orthodontic expertise. Our current orthodontic schedule is every other Friday, with occasional Thursdays. As our orthodontic department grows, additional days and opportunities will be added. For candidates seeking full-time employment, we are happy to discuss other opportunities currently available within our growing practice. What You'll Do Assist with Phase I orthodontic treatment and interceptive orthodontics Place brackets, complete starts, and perform debonds Work with aligners, expanders, retainers, and other orthodontic appliances Take photos, radiographs, impressions, and digital scans Educate patients and parents throughout treatment Help create an exceptional experience for every child and family What We're Looking For Orthodontic assisting experience required Positive, growth-minded attitude Strong organizational and communication skills Passion for working with children Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment If you're looking for more than just a job—if you're looking to help build something meaningful, grow professionally, and make a lasting impact on young smiles—we'd love to meet you.
