  • $24 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Paid time off Employee discount Qualifications Diagnostic imaging equipment Teamwork Vital signs Medical software Image acquisition for patient care Healthcare infection prevention and control expertise High school diploma or GED X-Ray Certification Patient care Dental equipment Front desk Operating medical imaging equipment Dental Assisting Full Job Description ```Duties```•Assist the dentist during dental procedures•Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment•Take and develop dental x-rays•Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures•Perform basic dental procedures such as building temporaries, making impressions and pouring models.
Intraoral scanner experience would be recommended.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
  • Maintain accurate patient records ```Requirements```
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a dental assisting program or equivalent experience
  • X-Ray certification
  • Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and materials
  • Familiarity with intraoral scanning technology is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques
  • Familiarity with medical imaging software for dental diagnostics
  • Proficiency in taking vital signs and recording patient information accurately
Note:
Experience as a dental receptionist or knowledge of medical coding is not required for this position but it is a plus. Also, Spanish as a first or second language is another plus.
