- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate patient records ```Requirements```
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a dental assisting program or equivalent experience
- X-Ray certification
- Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and materials
- Familiarity with intraoral scanning technology is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques
- Familiarity with medical imaging software for dental diagnostics
- Proficiency in taking vital signs and recording patient information accurately
Note:
Experience as a dental receptionist or knowledge of medical coding is not required for this position but it is a plus. Also, Spanish as a first or second language is another plus.
