Will typically assist 1-2 doctors. Brand new dental office opened September 2025. High tech with panoramic xray, CBCT, digital xray, digital scanner. This role is perfect for experienced professionals eager to apply their clinical skills, assist with diverse dental procedures, and contribute to a positive patient experience. We value energetic, detail-oriented team players who are passionate about promoting oral health and ensuring smooth clinic operations. If you have a background in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, or specialized fields like prosthodontics or endodontics, and are proficient with dental technology and infection control protocols, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures including restorative, endodontic, prosthodontic, and pediatric treatments using chairside assisting techniques. Prepare and breakdown treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and ensuring an aseptic environment in compliance with infection control standards. Take dental radiographs (X-rays), including digital imaging and 3D scans using advanced dental imaging equipment. Take digital intraoral scans, intraoral photographs, analog impressions if beeded Manage patient records accurately with Open Dental software while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Support the front desk by greeting patients, seating them Monitor vital signs and assist with medical history updates for pediatric and general patients to ensure safety during procedures. Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment, ensuring all tools are functioning properly and sterilized according to infection control protocols. Skills Proven experience as a Dental Assistant with knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy relevant to oral health. Proficiency in dental software. We use open dental Strong understanding of infection control practices, aseptic technique, and sterilization procedures in a dental setting. Ability to perform X-ray procedures accurately while following radiation safety guidelines; experience with 3D scanners is advantageous. Excellent communication skills. capable of explaining procedures clearly to pediatric and adult patients.
