As a Dental assistant, you will be directly involved in the oral health care of our patients. You will provide support to dentists and hygienists in the form of assistance with treatment and other tasks that are part of a dental team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently on various tasks while providing patient service. Our company is seeking an enthusiastic and professional dental assistant who has the desire to help patients maintain healthy teeth. Ultimately, you should have excellent communication skills to ensure a good relationship with patients and team members.
Responsibilities:
Collect dental records for new patients. Prepare treatment area and equipment for dental procedures. Take and develop dental x-rays . Maintain dental records in computerized system . Explain treatment procedures to patients and provide information about the development of their teeth and mouth. Teach patients how to care for their teeth, gums and oral hygiene. Prepare materials needed for dental procedures. Collect payment from patients before treatment and inform them of future appointments. Advise patients about scheduling, fees and other services.
