Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice starting immediately! The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dental team and ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. As a Dental Assistant, you will assist with various clinical tasks, manage patient records, and provide exceptional care to our patients. Responsibilities Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. Manage patient records, including updating medical histories and maintaining confidentiality. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Ensure compliance with infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff. Perform routine administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient flow. Support the dentist in various specialties, including general dentistry and prosthodontics. Skills Proficient in dental assisting techniques with a strong understanding of general dentistry practices. Knowledge of medical records management, anatomy, medical terminology, and medical coding. Familiarity with dental software systems such as Epic or Eaglesoft is preferred. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. Ability to implement infection control measures in accordance with industry standards. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with patients and team members. A proactive attitude towards learning new techniques and improving patient care services.
