Front Desk/Dental Assistant Happy Kids Pediatric Dentistry Tampa, FL Job Details Full-time From $17 an hour 20 hours ago Benefits 401(k) Paid time off Qualifications Spanish English Working with children Dentrix Full Job Description Position Summary We are seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Front Desk / Dental Assistant to join our team. This is a cross-trained position that requires assisting both at the front desk and in the clinical area as needed. The ideal candidate is a team player with a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and prior dental office experience. Front Desk Responsibilities Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients professionally and courteously Schedule and confirm appointments Verify insurance eligibility and benefits Collect payments and review financial information with patients Check patients in and out Maintain accurate patient records Assist with administrative and customer service duties as needed Dental Assistant Responsibilities Assist the dentist during patient treatment and procedures Take dental radiographs (X-rays) Prepare and maintain treatment rooms Follow sterilization and infection control protocols Prepare instruments and materials for procedures Help create a positive and comfortable experience for pediatric patients and their families Assist with patient flow throughout the day Qualifications Previous dental office experience required Pediatric dental experience preferred Bilingual in English and Spanish required Experience with Dentrix preferred Candidates without Dentrix experience must have experience using another dental software system X-ray certification preferred Knowledge of sterilization and infection control procedures Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent customer service and communication skills Positive attitude, dependable attendance, and willingness to assist wherever needed What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is dependable, flexible, and enjoys working with children. The right candidate is a team player who is willing to jump in and help both the front and back office when needed, maintains a professional attitude under pressure, and takes pride in providing excellent patient care and customer service.

From $17.00 per hour
