Summary As a Dental Assistant at Mark Sisko DDS, PA, you will play an integral role in supporting our dental team and ensuring a smooth patient experience. This position is vital for maintaining the efficiency of our practice and enhancing patient care. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during various procedures and treatments. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment for patient use. Manage patient records using Dentrix software efficiently. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Ensure the dental clinic is clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations. Support pediatric patients with a friendly approach during their visits. Assist in scheduling appointments and managing front desk tasks as needed. Qualifications Certified Dental Assistant Knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy is essential. Experience with Dentrix and Dexis or similar dental software is required. Strong assisting skills in a clinical setting are necessary. Familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus but not mandatory. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment with excellent communication skills. Basic understanding of endodontics and prosthodontics is beneficial but not required.
