Job Description

Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) - Pediatric Dentistry (Full-Time) Pediatric Dental Group is a pediatric specialty dental practice committed to delivering high-quality care in a fun, supportive environment. We're looking for a Certified Dental Assistant with a positive, engaging, and teachable spirit who enjoys working with children, adolescents, and patients with special needs . Pediatric dental experience is preferred. Pay $19.00 - $21.00 per hour (based on experience) Job Type Full-time Requirements CDA required Florida Dental Radiographer / X-ray certification required Reliable transportation Familiar with OSHA (infection control) and HIPAA guidelines Punctual, reliable, and a team player Responsibilities (include but are not limited to) Obtain and document patient medical histories from the parent/guardian Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) Perform dental prophylaxis (cleanings), as permitted by certification Assist pediatric dentist(s) during treatment procedures Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after treatment Provide post-op instructions after restorations, surgery, and other procedures Educate families on oral hygiene (brushing, flossing, and diet/nutrition counseling) Prepare, set up, break down, and sterilize instruments/equipment Support office tasks as needed (computer work, scheduling, phones, ordering/stocking supplies, supplier communication) Provide direct patient care within pediatric dentistry
