Dental Assistant Alpharetta, GA 30022 $21.16 - $22.40 an hour - Part-time $21.16 - $22.40 an hour - Part-time Overview Join our brand new practice in a family-centered dental team where compassion and quality care come first. We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant who is passionate about patient care and eager to contribute to a warm, supportive environment. Duties Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient visit. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care. Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow to optimize office efficiency. Ensure compliance with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols. Perform administrative tasks such as answering phones, managing patient inquiries, and processing medical documentation. Skills Strong knowledge of anatomy as it relates to dental health. Familiarity with dental terminology to effectively communicate with patients and staff. Experience in dental assisting or as a dental receptionist is preferred. Proficiency in managing medical records and documentation accurately. Understanding of aseptic technique to maintain a safe clinical environment. Experience with dental software Knowledge of general dentistry practices to assist effectively during procedures.
