We are committed to changing lives through exceptional clinical outcomes and an outstanding patient experience. We are seeking an experienced Lead Surgical Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in leadership, and is passionate about helping patients regain their confidence and quality of life. This is more than a chairside role. We are looking for someone who can lead by example, support the surgeon, help develop team members, and ensure our clinical operations run smoothly every day. Responsibilities Assist the surgeon during oral surgery and dental implant procedures Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and surgical materials Maintain strict sterilization and infection control standards Take and review CBCT scans, digital radiographs, and clinical photographs Monitor and manage surgical inventory and supplies Ensure operatories are prepared and stocked for all procedures Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient education Assist with IV sedation procedures (if certified) Fabricate and adjust temporary prosthetics as directed Support same-day conversion and full-arch implant cases Coordinate clinical workflow to maximize efficiency and patient experience Train and mentor new assistants Assist with implementing and maintaining clinical protocols Serve as a resource and leader for the clinical team Collaborate with front office and smile consultants to ensure seamless patient care Qualifications Minimum 3 years of oral surgery, implant, periodontal, or surgical dental assisting experience preferred Experience assisting with dental implant procedures required Full-arch (All-on-X) experience strongly preferred Current CPR certification required IV sedation certification preferred Radiology certification required Strong knowledge of surgical instrumentation and sterilization protocols Experience with CBCT imaging Excellent communication and patient care skills Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced surgical environment Strong organizational and leadership abilities What Makes Someone Successful in This Role Takes ownership and solves problems before they become issues Leads by example and helps elevate the entire team Maintains a positive attitude under pressure Treats patients with compassion, empathy, and respect Values teamwork and accountability Has a growth mindset and is committed to continuous learning Benefits Competitive compensation based on experience Bonus opportunities Career growth within a rapidly expanding implant-focused practice Supportive team culture that values excellence, integrity, and patient-centered care Room for growth Why Join Exquisite?
