• Job Overview:

• We are seeking an experienced Orthodontic Assistant to join our team.

The ideal candidate will provide support to the orthodontist in a clinical setting, ensuring efficient patient care and smooth operations. This is a full time position.

TRAVELING

is required to our locations mainly Atlanta, Stonecrest, and Athens. Minimum 1 year of orthodontic experience is

REQUIRED.

• Responsibilities:

• Assist the orthodontist during patient examinations and orthodontic procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for orthodontic procedures
• Take and record patients' medical histories
• Use of Itero scanner is a plus
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices specific to orthodontic care
• Perform dental receptionist duties such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records
• Take dental impressions and X-rays as directed by the orthodontist
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure patient confidentiality

• Skills:

• Strong anatomy knowledge related to oral health and facial structures
• Proficiency in orthodontic terminology, dental records management, and dental imaging
• Familiarity with dental/orthodontic assisting techniques and procedures
