In this vital role, you will support dentists in delivering comprehensive dental treatments, ensure smooth clinic operations, and create a welcoming environment for patients of all ages. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help us uphold the highest standards of infection control, patient comfort, and clinical efficiency. Responsibilities Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring aseptic technique and infection control protocols are strictly followed Take and develop dental X-rays and 3D scans using advanced medical imaging equipment while maintaining patient safety and comfort Manage patient records accurately within Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations Perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize workflow and patient experience Monitor vital signs and assess patient comfort throughout procedures, providing support as needed during pediatric or special needs cases Handle administrative duties including scheduling appointments as a dental receptionist, updating medical documentation, and managing medical records efficiently Requirements Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with familiarity in dental assisting practices and terminology Proficiency with EMR systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic for managing medical records and documentation Knowledge of infection control standards, aseptic technique, anatomy knowledge, and dental terminology Ability to operate dental equipment including X-ray machines, 3D scanners, and other medical imaging tools safely and effectively Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality at all times Experience with pediatric dentistry is highly desirable; familiarity with medical coding for dental procedures is a plus Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients of all ages and collaborate seamlessly with the dental team Join us in making a difference by providing top-tier dental care in a supportive environment!
