Job Description

Dental Assistant Wanted (Columbus, GA) compensation: Competitive pay employment type: full-time Maholick Innovative Dentistry is a locally owned, growing dental practice that has been serving our community for over 16 years. Chosen as 2018 Readers' Choice Awards Favorite Dentist recipient, we strive to offer the best to our community and our team. We are seeking a fun-loving, outgoing, motivated dental assistant to join our team full-time. This will not be your average dental assistant job. Our practice aims to deliver a higher level of care and experience for our patients through comprehensive treatment planning and continuous training and education. Our team is held to a higher standard of professionalism and train to achieve such. Maholick Innovative Dentistry is proud of our team and want them to grow. We want to know and understand your short and long term goals so that we may help you achieve them. Our office offers competitive pay, 401k participation, wellness bonus, performance bonus, continuing education, and uniform allowance. Our office works a regular Mon-Thurs work week with occasional 1/2 Fridays.
Essential Job Functions:
1. Greets all team members and patients with a smile and positivity everyday. 2. Does whatever it takes to deliver a Patient Experience That Exceeds Expectations on every patient everyday. 3. Updates patient medical history. 4. Understands and prepares for upcoming procedures. 5. Assists Doctor in delivering the best care possible for our patients. 6. Trains to continuously develop and broaden their scope of services. 7. Performs necessary lab work. 8. Practices universal precautions and other sterilization and infection prevention procedures. 9. Assists in other areas of the office as needed. Selected Applicants will be called for a phone interview and then, if further selected, brought in for an in office interview. The most qualified candidate(s) will be asked to perform a working interview for up to 60 days to evaluate their performance as well as compatibility with our teams culture.
