Salary is based on work experience. Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dental clinic. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental professionals in delivering high-quality services. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Responsibilities Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols. Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical documentation and treatment plans. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality Experience Familiarity with Practice Works or similar dental practice management software is a plus. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail are essential for maintaining accurate records. Ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members while demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
