Join our dynamic dental team/Endodontics, as a Dental Assistant and become a vital part of delivering exceptional oral healthcare to treat root canal only. In this energetic role, you will support dentists in providing root canal treatments, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a smooth clinic workflow. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment where patients feel cared for and confident in their dental experience. This paid position offers the opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced, patient-centered setting while making a positive impact on community health. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental materials, and ensuring all equipment is ready for procedures. Assist dentists during patient root canal treatments by handing instruments, managing suction, and providing chairside support. Take and develop dental X-rays and other medical imaging to assist in accurate root canal diagnosis and treatment. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on oral health care, post-treatment instructions. Support infection control protocols by practicing aseptic techniques and maintaining a clean, safe environment in accordance with OSHA standards. Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and assisting the dental receptionist with patient flow.
