Job Description

Role Name:
Dental Assistant. We are actively looking for a experience, dedicated and responsible Dental Assistant to become a part of our professional dental team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about providing high-quality patient care in a friendly environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting the dentist during dental examinations and procedures. Handling patient intake and discharge procedures. Preparing and sterilizing instruments, maintaining a clean operatory, and ensuring all necessary supplies are readily available before each patient's dental procedure. Taking digital radiographs and dental impressions as instructed. Managing office scheduling and patient follow-ups. Providing patients with information on dental procedures and post-operative care. Instructing patients on proper oral hygiene techniques. Communicating effectively with patients, our dentist, front desk and other members of the team. Going over treatment plans with patients.
Administrative Tasks:
Scheduling appointments and managing the dental office's appointment calendar. Taking, maintaining and updating patient records. Ordering and maintaining dental supplies and equipment.
Emergency Preparedness:
Assisting in emergency situations and following established protocols. To be successful in this role, you'll need: A completion certificate from an accredited dental assistant program.
Skills:
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a sterile environment. Familiarity with dental software (Dentrix) and office management systems, though not mandatory, will be a plus.
Experience:
Previous experience as a dental assistant will be advantageous but not mandatory.
Professionalism:
An ability to uphold a high level of professionalism, empathy, and confidentiality in all patient interactions.
