This position will begin as part time , with the plan to transition to full time as our schedule expands. Our ideal candidate is dependable, compassionate, and excited to help create a positive dental experience for children and their families. We value a kind, positive attitude and are looking for someone who is willing to learn, be a team player and embrace our office culture and have great attendance . Duties Assist with hygiene appointments and pediatric dental treatments Assist with coronal polish and taking x-rays using Nomad Pro Learn and be efficient with open dental Assist the doctor with treatment procedures involving nitrous oxide Assist the doctor during in-office sedation days Provide chairside support and maintain a child-friendly, calm environment Answering phones and scheduling appointments whenever needed Checking patients in and out whenever needed Presenting treatment plans and discussing next steps with families whenever needed Experience Prior experience as a dental assistant (pediatric dental assisting experience) Previous front office experience is a PLUS Current DA certification; radiology, polish and CPR certifications Knowledge of nitrous and sedation protocols strongly preferred Friendly, kind , and positive attitude with strong teamwork skills Willingness to learn and adapt to our unique office culture Ability to multitask and communicate effectively with children and parents What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Supportive, team-oriented work environment Opportunities for training and professional growth A chance to make a meaningful impact on young patients and their families Benefits (Details will be discussed with the doctor during working interview)
