Job Description

Job Overview Want to join the best orthodontic practice in Gwinnett? We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Orthodontic Assistant to join our fast pace orthodontic team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the orthodontist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and the ability to work effectively with patients of all ages. Duties Assist the orthodontist during patient examinations and procedures (bonding braces/Invisalign attachments, braces adjustments, braces removal) ensuring a smooth workflow. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques. Take orthodontic records such as iTero Scanning, Images, and X-rays as needed for diagnostic purposes. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Maintain accurate patient records Cloud 9 Software Collaborate with the team to provide high-quality customer care in a friendly environment. Skills The successful candidate should possess the following skills: Proficient in dental/orthodontic terminology. Excellent customer service. Experience or knowledge in pediatrics to effectively communicate with younger patients. Competence in X-ray procedures and safety protocols. iTero scanning Strong background in dental /orthodontic assisting techniques. Knowledge of aseptic technique to ensure patient safety.
