GED Full Job Description Dental Assistant Location:
Bettendorf, IA 52722 Bettendorf Dental is looking for a compassionate, detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team and make a real difference in patients' lives every day. The Dental Assistant will work side-by-side with our dentists across in a supportive environment where your skills and growth are valued. If you take pride in clinical excellence and in making patients feel at ease, we want to meet you.
What You'll Do:
Prepare patients for treatment, helping them feel calm and comfortable throughout their visit Provide chairside assistance across specialties: restorative, orthodontics, periodontics, pediatric dentistry, and oral surgery Set up, sterilize, and maintain instruments and operatory areas to strict infection-control standards Take and process digital X-rays and perform lab tasks under dentist direction Document medical histories, record vitals, and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA Provide post-treatment instructions and oral hygiene education Take dental impressions and assist with study models Support front-office functions as needed: scheduling, phones, billing, and supply ordering
Requirements & Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required; proof of completion of a radiation safety course required
Certification:
Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) via accredited program preferred
Experience:
1+ year(s) of experience as a
