Seeking an energetic, fun and dependable person to join our team at Indianola Pediatric Dentistry as a full-time Registered Pediatric Dental Assistant! Imagine yourself working in a dental office where….

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
(but not limited to): Greet and seat patients Set up operatories for patient procedures Review schedules and anticipate doctor needs in advance Assist chairside in both the dental office and at the hospital Enter treatment plans Take x-rays as prescribed by doctor Performing prophylaxis on children Clean and disinfect operatories Package and sterilize instruments Keep operatory fully stocked Act as a liaison between the patient and the doctor Answering phones Taking/confirming appointments Writing letters to referring dentists Office cleaning/housekeeping duties
JOB REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma Iowa Dental Assisting License Active CPR certification
PREFERRED QUALITIES
Pediatric dentistry experience is a plus OpenDental software experience is a plus Nitrous oxide monitoring certification is a plus This would be a great opportunity for someone interested in dental hygiene as there will be lots of pediatric hygiene experience!
