A TEAM PLAYER WHO BELIEVES IN 5-STAR CUSTOMER CARE.
If you are a self-motivated, independent thinker who is open to learning new things and doesn't settle for average…then Caldwell Orthodontics is your career home! This is a full time position (approximately 32-36 hours per week), Monday through Thursday with occasional Fridays. Relevant orthodontic experience preferred. Spanish speaking is a plus!
Responsibilities:
  • Assist the orthodontist during procedures and treatments
  • Take and develop dental x-rays and other diagnostic images
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including medical coding and billing
  • Provide chairside assistance to the orthodontist during procedures
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care
  • Schedule appointments and manage the orthodontic office calendar
  • Perform dental receptionist duties, such as greeting patients and answering phone calls
  • Adhere to
HIPAA/OSHA
guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
Skills:
  • Proficiency in Dentrix, Epic, Ortho Trac, or similar dental software systems
  • Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and equipment
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of dental terminology and procedures
  • Familiarity with medical records management and coding
